Getting the right size bike is so important for a safe and comfortable ride and this handy bike size guide will help you work out your bike standover height, which is the most accurate way to figure it out. The bike standover height is the distance from the ground to the top of the top tube of your frame. The easiest way to measure this is to grab a book, a tape measure and put on the shoes you’ll wear when riding. Stand with your back against a wall and place the book between your upper thighs, snug to your crotch. Simply measure from the top of the book down to the floor, this is your bike standover height.
